| welcome - It is actually a religous phrase, but some say it on coming across something amazing, so that it means that = It is only Allah ( our God) who can do something like that. | |

| :-) - my husband usually use "laa elah el allah" as "oh, my God!!"
So if I do something stupid or I disturb him - he just looks into the sky :-) and tell this. It is one of the funny usage of this phrase. | |

or if he/she couldnt get what he/she wanted.. & is impatient to find it, it is also said.. its a kind of calming your temper down.. though im not muslim, but some beliefs in different religions are really amazing for me..remembering God whenever you are angry makes you calm down :) | |
