arabic music - would like some info on arabic music

arabic music - When I was on this site there was a song that you could download by fairooz that when I listened to it I was so moved I wanted to hear more, if anyone could tell me about other arabic artists or where to find this type of music please let me know. Shokran

Where to find music - You can find Arabic music online in dance stores, like http://www.bellydanceshoppe.com or try http://www.pekorecords.com/ for a larger selection. They have Fairuz under Arabic/classical there.

I just found this site the other day, with lyric Phrases:

you want arabic music? :) - Try http://www.mazika.com/
it's a great site for arabic music, a few links are dead but I'd say 98% of them are good. It has lots of free arabic music, from the most popular on down. I'd really suggest trying hany shaker, mohammad fouad, and pascal they're great. Amr Diab is good to but not my favorite except for one song called ana aktar wahed. :) Hope this helps.
