| Bengali for English - Hi i want to learn Bengali and have the facility to talk over the net via microphone - can set you up with free program if you get a microphone. I would teach you English we could use the lesson plans this website provides?? Could only do once a week and times may have to vary as i am a nurse so do shift work. | |

| Learning Bengali - Hi Satyugraha Thanks for your email - it would be very difficult for us to make the time connection but the thoughts are good. I am also english speaking and I have visited Bangladesh and can speak a little Bengali. I was frustrated tryin gto find some one who would help me advance in the language and I found so many other looking to be taught the basic of the language. At least I could help a few along the way and was wanting to start more activity so as there was no one who was either will or able to help me I decided to help others with some very basic introductions. It is possible that we can all help each other and attract a more proficient speaker of the language. I will keep posting the lesson to the best of my ability but I think the best approach to learning Bengali is to practice the greetings and introductions and try it out on a Bangldeshi. All the best with language learning - and have some fun as we try it out. | |
