| - Well, I can understand some Czech 'cause it's similar to Serbian/Croatian, but I would like to understand it more and to speak it. I've been learning Czech using the Pimsleur method for learning languages (only 10 lessons) and now I can speak it a bit but I still want to improve it. | |

| Pimsleur approach.... - Goran, I am from the U.S. and was thinking about purchasing the Pimsleur method on tape. Can you tell me if it has helped you much? I know no Czech and am just getting started. Thanks. | About Pimsleur method - I like very much Pimsleur method but regarding Czech language it contains only 10 lessons. :( and maybe it would not be enough for you. At least for me it was very short. If you want to learn German, Spanish, Italian, or French for example there are 3 parts, and each part contains 30 lessons, so 90 lessons in total and each one lasts about 30 minuts. But with other languages it's only 10 or 30 lessons as maximum... Goran | |

| - Goran, what more would you like to understand on czech cases? Can you be more concrete? | |

| - I would like to learn grammar, because the pronunciation is not so difficult because it's very similar to Croatian language. | |

| - For example I know that in Czech there are 7 grammatical cases as in Croatian: 1. nominative 2. genitive 3. dative 4. accusative 5. vocative 6. locative 7. instrumental I would like to know the endings of the nouns in singular and in plurar and some examples. Thanks Goran | |

| - Hi Goran. So you live in Barcelona? I am in Palma - pretty close. :o) I could help you as well if you are still looking for someone. Hmm, endings of the nouns - that would be a bit longer talking or writing... :o) Just let me know if you are still up to find a help and I am here for you to tell you as much as I know. Good luck! | |

| Hi Petra - I live in Barcelona but I'm from Palma de Mallorca as well. I came to Barcelona 2 years ago...I think I went to the same school of languages as you in Palma de Mallorca. Is it in Aragon Street? :) I would like you to write here some examples of a word in all cases in Czech Thanks :) | |

| - Yes, the school is still in Calle Aragon but this year we have the classes in a building close to Plaza Espanya. Anyway, sorry for writing so late to you but we had some viruses here on the PC and it was going terribly slow that I gave up to try to reply. Well, I could write you all the cases but I don't have a Czech keyboard here so it will not be so accurate while using only English Alphabet. But if you are still interested I will try to work on it and will send it as soon as I will have it done. BTW - how is the snow in Barcelona? It was amazing here yesteray - snow everywhere and I got really great pictures :o) Have a great day! | |

| Ahoj Petra - Ahoj Petra, Dobry den, jak se máš? Don't worry about the keyboard, you can use English alphabet. Of course I'm still interested :) I spoke to my family form Mallorca and they said it was snowing on Mallorca like never before :) Nashledanou | |
