DANISH PHRASES - I'm a beginner, and I welcome corrections and ideas to make this post and thread better.

Firstly, a note on my transliterations for pronunciation.
Transliteration of Danish 'd', isn't possible in any reasonable sense using English. As, it is a combination (as I see it) of at least two English sounds- 'th' in then and 'l' in lunch. A basic description I would give of the letter, is that it is a swallowed 'th' (as in then). Only at the beginning of a word is it the same as English 'd' for dog. I hope to soon make a seperate "pronunciation" thread with more detail.

Corrections and such - you're welcome - ingen årsag / selv tak / det var så lidt

"Det er i orden" would be something like "that's all right"

where are you from - hvor kommer du fra?

- nice work Ulven.

Do say "do you speak English?", could one not just say "Taler du engelsk?"
