| - It was the shortest war, in history, because there _was no war_. The pro-nazi Danish government decided _not_ to fight the nazi-germans, and instead let them walk right into our country. They cooperated with the Nazis doing the rest of WWII. Only the Danish people were fighting.

| - Yes Jenkie, but Poland was September '39. I don't think there was much chance for Denmark to resist Germany anyway. Look what happened to Holland when they did... Rotterdam got bombed to the ground by the Luftwaffe. In those early days the German army was unstoppable.
How did it affect life though? Things went on much as usual? Obviously there would have been much resentment to the invading force... | |
