"a" Francais? - Je suis noveau, et je ne bien pas a Francias. Mon premier langue est Anglais (evidemment)
Ne moque pas!
--------------------------------------------------------------
I was wondering if I stated that right ["a Francais"]. I meant to say "at French" as in, "I am not good at French", but for all I know I could be confusing people by referring to "French" as a literal place I could be "at". I am kind of confused...

Feel free to correct the rest of the pitiful attempt as well :P

- Hello :)

I'll try to reply to your question.

I'm not good at French would be translated by je ne suis pas bonne en françaisif a female is talking OR je ne suis pas bon en français if it's a male who's talking

at in this case = en

Here's the correction of your sentence ;)

Je suis nouvelle => you have to agree the adjective because you're a female (so you can't write 'nouveau')

You can't write 'Français', 'Anglais' etc. There's no need to use a capital letter, so français, anglais

langue is a feminine word = la langue
My first language = ma langue maternelle

Ne moque pas => ne te moque pas OR ne vous moquez pas

Hope this can help :)

Feel free to ask other questions if you have any

- Thanks for your help; I have but one question:

Why would it be "ne te moque pas". Is it reflexive or what?
Once again, merci!

- Bonjour,

Sorry to reply so late.

Se moquer is a reflexive verb. So, it's necessary to use a pronoun: ne te moque pas

Oh you're welcome :)
