Culture? - I have currently been searching for French music and have found none. All I find are radios that say they play french music but it sounds like Radio DJ's talking to callers who call in. Does anyone know any french music or of any songs...So does anyone know of any songs or french artists that I maybe able to find music for?

- KYO is an awesome band. Two of their songs you should definately check out are "Le Chemin" ft. Sita, and "C'est Ma Faute". And if you have ever seen the movie "The Last of the Mohicans ( I don't think I spelled that correctly )", then you should listen to their song "Fermons Les Yeux". The music is oddly familiar. Hope that helps!

- Just for my own practice, I will attempt to translate that for you, Caramel. lol. Hopefully I'm getting it pretty right:).
Yes, there are of course some others. The ones that you have cited aren't bad, but I hadn't thought of those. There are, to a degree, some singers that...

well, I really like (de trucs), but I'd have to say that rock music is my favourite (that's why I like Nena^^).

Sorry if I've misrepresented you, Queequeg, with my translation:).

- I like french music. I have heard a variety I think many different genres. But when I listen to music in english I am more into hip hop, rap, and R&B culture. So I have tried to find something like that in the french music that I listen to. I love K'Maro, I heard some of his songs, and I plan on buying his CD... when I get money lol, I like Nadiya I have heard her song Et C'est Parti is good, but I can't find it, I have heard her song Parle Moi, I have it on my computer, I love that too. I am still looking to listen to more music though. I often find french music sites that play music or that I can choose what music I want to listen to !
Thank You everybody for your replies !

- Salut a tous! :)

Here in our place it's hard to find cd's with french songs. Fortunately though I have friends who send me cd's from time to time. :D I like songs by Edith Piaf, Patrick Bruel and the african r & b group called "Les Nubians"...

- Hi, I have also downloaded songs by K'Maro, i have heard femme like you and i like that a lot. Alos another K'Maro song is Crazy which is good also. I was thinking that maybe K'Maro speak slightly too fast so listening to some songs by David Charvet may be easier to understand. Slash
