| Dual Language Books - Hi everyone, I just wanted to tell people about Dual-Language books if you have never heard of them or used them. Yesterday I bought one in English and French. It is great. There are many kinds just like with other books, but I chose one that had short stories in it so that I can look at a variety of french works.
The works have the French Version on one page, then The English Version on the opposite page. This I think would be a great tool to use to get to learn french better. Most of the works were in French First so as you can imagine it does have slang in it. If you don't know slang, it has numbers subcript by a slang word, then you can go to the back of the book and find the story and the corrosponding number and it will tell you about the word. If you have never seen Dual-Language Books I will provide you with some links to amazon which allows you to view excerpts from the book. :D : Just when the page loads under the picture of the book click "Look inside this book", note that not all of the books on amazon have this feature.
