"French In Action" Video Series - Hello, I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with the "French In Action" learning series. If so, what did you think of it? Thanks.

French In Action - Video Series - My professors used that when I took French at the university. I enjoyed it as well as others in the class. It reinforced a lot of vocabulary and brought up points that maybe the teacher had missed during lecture. Hope this information helps. Bon chance!

This is an expensive program. If you want the whole program (DVDs, textbook, workbook, study guide, and audio compact discs) the cost is $920 US. You can also purchase just the dvds for $450. I would suggest looking on ebay if you are interested in buying them.

- haha . . .I totally remember French in Action from when I was about 14 years old in high school French . . .

Sorry if this is inappropriate for the forum but the only thing I really remember of the show (hey, i was 14) were Marie-Laure's incredibly perky nipples.

. . . oh yeah, and that weird pointless mime.

I Have Good News - I just found out that you can view the entire French in Action series online for free. It is available on the same site that sells the series, http://www.learner.org/resources/series83.html# You have to register to play the videos, but it is free to register. I sampled a few videos today, the quality is pretty good and the price is right.
English, Spanish, and German are also available on the same site. http://www.learner.org/resources/browse.html?discipline=3
