| French revision - I have just taken my first year of alevels (aslevels), and the grades i got for french and german were very very bad, especially the french. this has really upset me because i know that i have basic gcse knowledge of both languages, only the teaching of alevel languages is very bad and i feel it needs great improvement; i was a grade a student in french at school. my german grade isn't as bad, and i am currently getting extra grammar help - something which is stupidly left out in alevels! - for german with a private tutor who is very good. i am dropping french to take something else, which is a shame because i absolutely adore the french language, and really wanted to learn it. i know that i can take a french alevel course later on after university, and might well do this. trouble is, this may be up to six or seven years time, and i would like to continue practicing the language. i don't know about the rest of the french learners, but i would really appreciate i don't know, someone maybe putting up french exercises for different tenses up in a special french learning forum or something, or giving us grammar to revise in different topics?

| humm - yeah, i see.. you mean something like what i'm doing with Japanese ? look at 'need help ' topic in Japanese section. Well my native language is French.. maybe i can help you with some grammar revision :P but you know, just to do that in Japanese it take alots of time.. i'm writing a lesson per day and it take me some time.. Maybe i will have to cut the japanese lessons a bit to include french lessons..
Anyway, what is your degree with french ? | |
