incorrect English in the USA? - I would not get angry that there is ignorance about the English of the USA. Although it seems to me that some people misuse words and have difficulty expressing themselves, the vast majority of Americans speak fluent and correct English. I think the English writing system could be immensely improved; it is sad to spend one's school years learning how to spell one's own language and then never quite to be sure one spells things correctly.
Malgré un problème semblable en français (entre la langue parlée et la langue écrite), il me semble qu'il est moins difficile d'apprendre à écrire le français.
