Hallo, alle - Trying to learn German, any suggestions?

Hallo, alle - Hi there, I'm new to Phrasebase, and to the German language as well. I would really like to learn, and have picked up a few words on my own, but I'm kind of lost on what to do or where to go from here, any suggestions?

Looking forward to making many new friends here, and thanks in advance for your help! :-)
