Other Hebrew Sit../../discusss - I found two good Hebrew discusss, you can find them here:

http://www.tapuz.co.il/tapuzdiscuss/ma../../discusspage.asp?id=1072
http../../discusss.nana.co.../../discuss/?discussID=1969

You have to already know how to read and write basic Hebrew (without vowels), because the discuss is entirely in Hebrew, but it's a good way to ask native Hebrew speakers about anything you want to know.

I also found a site which has Hebrew e-books, written in simple Hebrew, however many do not have vowels:

Here's a good place for more specific information about the Hebrew language:

Additionally, go here for a free Hebrew encyclopedia with 15,000+ articles:

A Hebrew search-engine:
http://www.google.co.il

"Project Ben-Yehuda aims to make accessible the classics of Hebrew literature (poetry and prose at first, and then essays etc.) to the reader of Hebrew. For that purpose, the literary works are converted to a format that is readable and searchable on the Internet. The project is intended to be of use for both amateurs and scholars of literature. It is inspired by the parallel English project started by Professor Michael S. Hart (which has recently started bringing texts in other languages as well) called Project Gutenberg."

(Has vowels and is written in simple Hebrew)

Anyone who knows of other good websites in Hebrew or in English, then please contribute. Perhaps we'll get enough good resources to make this a sticky.

Cheers and Shalom,

Babylon - On that note however, can you get babylon to do Hebrew/English Phrases ? The phonetic type?

Instead of translation into actual hebrew characters (im not too good at reading) I would like it to translate into phonetics such as "shalom" "hof" etc etc

Can you read better with vowels? If so, you should use Milon Morfix because it will give you the vowels of a lotof words. I also believe that there is a program for Hebrew voice stuff, but I can't remember where.

Hebrewworks Saffa has a lot of good stuff for verbs, but pretty expensive at $85. I'll post the link in my first post.
