|Veer-zaara - Well, songs from this movie just fascinate me. one of them is tere liye
Tere liye ham hain jiye, honton ko siye
Tere liye ham hain jiye, har aansoo piye
Dil main magar, jalte rahe, chaahat ke diye
Tere liye, tere liye

| - I went to Bollywood 3 years ago, and can't enter a theater because U have to wait 3 days before a place was awailable.. :(
I would have understand nothing, but Indian movies are quite easy to understand, even without speach (actors are very "expressive"). I would have like to hear people in the movie theater (very sensitive from what I heard about).
So I watch my only Indian movies in France, and not that much. Indian industry is not distributed in France, except in some Art Movie Theaters...
But watching Indian movies could be a good idea...
Are all the movies in Hindi? or different languages are used?
If someone could also give me some good titles. Thx :)

On hindi movies: Not all movies made in India are hindi. Surprisingly in South India hindi movies are not that popular. South India has its own movie mania with Tamil and Telgu language movies. Some of the movies there make better box office collection then hindi movies in Bombay/Delhi.
Hindi movies are known to international audiance coz it is India's offical language, but movies in different languages includes Tamil, Telgu, Kannada and Malyalam in south India, punjabi and Bhojpuri movies in North india, Bangali films in east among others.
Some titles (for hindi), over the years : DDLJ, Kal Ho na Ho, Dil Chahta hai, Sholay, Laggan (was Oscar Nominated), K3G...
