Sulawesi Island.

is a nice Seashore islands.

in here you'll be find the greatest Sailor on the Asia.

they are the Bugis people.

and in here you'll be find the island.

who stayed with the Philippines people on the south.

it's Miangas Islands.


SOUTH SULAWESI & WEST SULAWESI province

Situated on the crossroads of historical and strategic sea lanes,

the province of South Sulawesi constitutes

the narrow south-western peninsula of this mountainous, orchid-shaped island.

As the capital and chief trading port of the province,

Makassar, is still the gateway to eastern Indonesia.

Spanish and Portuguese galleons,

followed by British and Dutch traders

sailed these seas in search of the spice trade,

escorted by their men of war to protect them against

the daring raids of the Bugis and Makassar sailors who attacked the intruders.


SOUTH-EAST SULAWESI province

covers Southeast Sulawesi peninsula,

Buton Island

Muna Island and small islands

that spread out at South and Southeast of peninsula.

It is located at length-wise

from west to southeast i.e. 3 - 6 latitude

and 120 45' - 124 06' longitude.

It borders to the north by South Sulawesi Province

and Central Sulawesi Province, to the south by Flores Sea, to the east by Banda Sea and to the west by Bone Bay



CENTRAL SULAWESI province.

has a capital city that they called "Palu"

and it's bordered of

South-Sulawesi on the South

North Sulawesi on the North

South-east Sulawesi on the east and south-east.

in here you'll be find the nice gulf of Sulawesi. and of course the beach.


GORONTALO & NORTH SULAWESI province


Magnificent coral gardens

and a multitude of tropical marine life

defend coastlines of virgin white beaches

in the north of the orchid-shaped island of Sulawesi.

Mountains and volcanoes dominate the landscape with over 50 summits

some of which are still active, reminding the islanders and the world of the potential power of one of the earth's most awesome forces.
