Starting the journey... - Hello all,

Since today is St. Patrick's day, I decided it is a good opportunity to start working on my old project of learning Irish. I don't know even why, I think I like its appearance of a mystical, lost idiom.

Please bear with me as I advance, I am a beginner in its purest sense. Well, I know something, however: "Ni neart go Guinness!" :) I think I will start from here...

Happy St. Patrick's Day to all!

Lá Fhéile Pádraig Shona Duitse!
Happy Saint Patrick's Day to YOU!

Yes, I have to agree. There is something magical, mystical about Irish. Most people learn it for heritage, but there are some non-native Irish, like myself, who enjoy learning it too. I have no idea why I got started in this amazing language. It's really interesting though. I hope to see you at our lessons, if you can come!

Enjoy the forum!

Slán go fóill,
Christine
