| Why Irish? - Why do you want to learn Irish? By now everyone knows that I've got an Irish passion... Fixation, really. It all came from the songs. Traditional songs from the Gaeltachts. I wanted to understand what words went with that beautiful music. How about you? What pushes you to learn? What's your goal? Ordering a pint, or fluency? | |

| - I, like many people, have to admit: I didn't know Irish was a real language. I found out because I was dating an Irish guy and he said something to me in Irish. Ever since then, my curiosity has fueled my interest. Once I started learning, I fell in love with this magical language. I think it's a fun language to learn, and now I want to be fluent. One day... lá amháin... Is breá liom Gaeilge! | |

| - I have no idea why I'm learning Irish. I'm supposed to be concentrating on Spanish but somehow I got sidetracked. I guess I'm learning it because I've always been interested in Ireland and the language is beautiful and mystical. :) | |
