Exchange Partner - I'm from Los Angeles and currently residing in Rome, Italy. I would like to learn to speak Italian. Hope to find someone who would like to exchange in the area.

- Hi Merlin,

This is my advice:

1. learn the basics: take classes or study them on your own (see the websites listed in this forum)
2. look for a language exchange partner for exchanging e-mails or Classroomting
3. be exposed to the language in as many different ways as you can: listening, writing, reading, Classroomting…
