- Hello, I'm in need of a teacher as well. I've been using an Italian learner's booklet to teach myself, but I would just like to know a few common phrases since I'll be going to Italy this summer; phrases like "What's up?" or "What's going on". Something like slang.

Did you have a look at the Italian Phrases section? It's still under construction but more than 80% Phrases are done. If you can't find what you need, please post your questions here in the italian discuss (start a new thread), I'll answer them.

I am a native English speaker taking Italian in school. I would love for someone to teach me and help me practice for my proficiency exam in June.
