Hiragana - I am new to the site and I have noticed that alot of you write on the site in hiragana. I was wondering how to do that. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

You can configure your keyboard - That's what I have. In Windows XP you go into your control panel into Regional/Language Options and set up the keyboard from there.

- You can also do the same thing in windows 98 if you download the japanese ime (input method editor) from the microsoft homepage. it should take opnly a few minutes on a broadband connection but it'll take about 30 min to an hour on dial-up.

- I am running windows xp home and I cant load the japanese ime without the disk. Is there another way?
