| - I know there are a few words for each of those, chicka360. No doubt there are idioms out there, but a literal translation might be: 天国と地獄 "tengoku to jigoku" "heaven & hell." "tengoku ni jigoku" might also work, but I can't say for sure. 11_11_11, Japanese has intonation as well For example, HAshi (high-low, [i]chopsticks[/i]) and haSHI (low-high, [i]bridge[/i]) are two different words. Luckily, most times you'll be understood though context, so messing up here isn't fatal like it is in Chinese. | |

| - 11_11_11, if you're worried about intonation then you'll most likely not want to try Vietnamese (I, personally, find this harder then Chinese). But there are still intonations, just like in most languages. | |
