|Reading Japanese - I was at my local comic book store today and I stumbled across some little books that appeared to have Japanese writing on them. So I investigated:
The books are published by Beans Comics. On each page ( about 3.5 inches by 4.5 inches ) was a line or 2 in Japanese. Most were in hiragana, some had a couple kanji in them. In the back of the books were English Phrases. I don't know if these were meant for children or people learning Japanese. But they were just little kids' stories and poems. I bought two; Kuma Kuma and Kokoro no Kage.
I think these would be great for someone who wants to practice their reading. The kanji were relatively simple and the more complex ones could be looked up in a standard dictionary. The only website given in the book was deleter.com. I have not checked that site yet, but if they are not there, maybe your local comic book store will carry them.
I hope this little post can be of use to someone!
