help - Hi,

I from London, in the UK..

I wondered if you could help me, I want to ask a girl out on a date and wondered if you could tell me how to ask in Russian?

I want to say something like "I think you are very beautiful, would you like to go out with me sometime?" how could I say that in Russian? or write it in russian?

Thanks for all the help you can give me.

Hello CB,
There are many ways to ask a Russian woman out, I guess it more or less depends on how well you know her, and her personality.
To answer your question more fully, I will make a list in the Russian discuss. Click Here to go to that post
Hopefully that will be helpful.

- Hello AT,
Please come find me in Classroom. I am a little flooded at work at the moment, but as soon as my workload normalizes somewhat I will be able to continue with the lessons in the Russian discuss.

In the meantime, I will be glad to help you in Classroom. I can usually be found there at 11:00GMT, 17:00 GMT, and 24:00-6:00 GMT. If you send me a PM with a time I will try to meet you there.

Alternatively, I can get you in touch with other Russian students and teachers on here. Let me know what will work best.

- I'm not familiar with WebTV, except for the concept. If you check that you have Macromedia Flash 6 installed (the most current version) you should be able to get into Classroom without any problems. The link is HERE

Spanish, Russian? - Hello Anya,
I'm trying!!! to learn Spanish at the moment and would also like to try my hand at Russian. I've only just found this site and while browsing found this conversation. Can you help me? I'm not very good at either language but am very keen to learn.

- Hello Terry and Caitlynn,
I can help a little with Spanish, but your best bet would be to contact Maryam, she is our Spanish Administrator here and is simply excellent!

I've been taking on more and more responsibility of maintaining the discusss, so I'm finding that I am less able to be in the classroom. I can still answer questions, but if looking for an exchange partner, I would probably not be a very consistent one as I've had to put my language learning on hold for a little while.

Have a great time learning guys!

P.S. Jarek, you can email me again when you have time and go back to learning English.
