Nepali Verbs 1 - To build some more vocabulary, let's look at verb conjugations in the Habitual Present Tense:![]() Roman Transliteration: [u][b]āīpugnu = to arrive[/u][/b] ma āīpugchū = I arrive timī āīpugchaū = you (M) arrive ū āīpugcha = s/he arrives hamīharū āīpugchaű = we arrive yinīharū āīpugchan = they arrive Used in a sentence: ![]() Nepālī pāţhaharū āīpugchan! (Nepali lessons arrive!) **Disclaimer** I am not a native speaker and will be posting this as I learn, please correct any mistakes you find. The goal is to develop a series of verbs and then conjugate them in the different tenses as I learn them. | |

| - Yes, Nepali lessons do arrive don't they, in some places, and at some times.:) I assume that you don't yet know the [i]non[/i]-habitual present tense for the comment, "Nepali lessons [i]are arriving[/i]"(?). But it would get the point across, I'm sure. At least you'd know how to ask someone for lessons if you were in Nepal, if you wanted some. :) | |
