|just starting??? - Hello everyone, I am just starting to learn Norwegian...a friend of mine taught me the alphabet, but that's all she knows. I would love to continue to study the language but I can't seem to find anything on the Net? I admit to maybe being too independent for my own good...can anyone help me, or at least guide me to a few good books? Thanks a million!|

You want to start building your collection with at least these two books:
Norwegian: An Essential Grammar (Essential Grammars)
by Ase-Berit Strandskogen, Rolf Strandskogen, Barbara White
Paperback: 202 pages
Publisher: Routledge; Reissue edition (February 1, 1995)
by E Haugen
Paperback: 504 pages
Publisher: University of Wisconsin Press
You may also want to add:
Norwegian Verbs And Essentials of Grammar
by Louis Janus who is a teacher, and contributor to Norword
Paperback: 176 pages
I will add more when I get the time.
Fint å ha møtt deg!
