Norword Example - Norword is an email based lesson plan for the Norwegian language that delivers a small lesson every day that you can work on.

Please sign up here:
http://frodo.bruderhof.com/norword/

Ignore the outdated warning about using free email accounts. You can get a free yahoo email with 100 Megabytes of storage capacity which would be great for keeping your Norword lessons apart from your normal email program.

Below is an example of a structured lesson you will recieve. (Lesson #1 shown). [Formatting will look normal in the actual email you recieve.]

EDIT 2004-10-07: I have just completed formatting this lesson into a more polished looking Adobe Acrobat PDF file. To download this file, click on the gift which I wrapped up for you below:

Correction - I am going to add a pronunciation correction Saturday Oct 09 09:51pm PST

According to the pronunciation guide used by Norword, the following section:
PRONUNCIATION:

(GOO DAHG / MOHRN /HAI! YAI HEH-TER MAH-RIT. VAH HEH-TER DO?)
Should correctly be written:

PRONUNCIATION:

(GOO DAHG / MOHRN /HAI! YAI HEH-TER MAH-RIT. VAH HEH-TER DEW?)

The section:
WORD LIST:

du (DO / you) like (LEE-KEH / like)
Should correctly be written:

WORD LIST:

du (DEW / you) like (LEE-KEH / like)

- This is an excellent resource for anyone learning Norwegian. It starts you off with one or two sentences and builds up from there, also giving you grammar and a little about culture, recommended reading, writing excerises etc.

This program is not to be missed!!

Mange takk til Nancy Aarsvold og Louis Janus for listen!!
