| Would like to learn... - I've been teaching myself European Portuguese for about three months now, and it's becoming increasingly difficult to keep a regular study session. I'd like to learn the language, becuase I'd like to move to Europe someday and live in a country that doesn't speak English. So far, the only classes I've been able to find are in a local college and I'm scarcely old enough for that. Any help would be much appreciated. | |

| - Well, the key to learning a language successfuly is motivation :) I see you got the motivation already, so now you just need to keep it appealing for you. Try to listen to some Portuguese music, watch Portuguese TV (and why not soap-operas!), Classroom with Portuguese friends over the Internet, etc. You can also make a schedule and keep to it. For instance, to study each day for 15 minutes or 1 hour per week, etc. It's really really easy to become demotivated and stop studying, but it's all about you :) I'll be glad if I can help you. I'm always the "teacher" whenever we got exchange-students over here, so I can say I have some practice in teaching :) | |
