|hard to understand - I wanna learn Romanina but I know NOTHING but what my language (portuguese) makes it possible for me to infer.. so posts completely in Romanian will be hard to be understaood (maybe Romanian and the english translation in parenthesis would do)... thanks|

| - Ah, mişto! 2000ncă nu sunt mai mult (dunno if that's correct - trying to say "I'm not anymore") o copilă... este ciudată. What is it with Romania and the first of the month? In March, my Romanian friend came into class and put pins on everyone and didn't tell us what the occasion was except that it was a holiday "in her country."
Gemini - "My loves/dears..." Damn it. How do you translate "La Mulţi Ani"? Heh... I guess it would be like "Happy June 1st," but "La Mulţi Ani" literally means "to many years." Anyway... then she said that June 1st is Children's Day.

| - You can't "wish" the best for them. You have to actually do something.|

| - Bună La Pluie,
You are right, wishing doesn't help anyone.
The words 'La Mulţi ani' are in my head associated with
'wishing' -> birthday/new years day etc...that's where it went wrong i guess.
I to replied to this topic spontaniously...
