Suggestions? - Your Wish List for the Russian discuss

Suggestions? - Hello everyone,

This post is going to be for all the students of Russian here on PhraseBase. I'm hoping you'll use it as sort of a "wish" list for things you'd like to see on the Russian discuss.

While I'm still just learning Russian myself, I also want to help make the Russian discuss one of the more active discusss on PB, and make it as helpful as possible to all the students. I have a few more ideas in my head for some games (involving vocab, grammar, etc), that as soon as I get some "bugs" worked out, I plan on posting them. As well, I'm hoping Anya and I can maybe add some more to the stickied "Russian Lessons" post at the top of the page - adding things like maybe cases, etc.

So - if you have any ideas, post them here. I'm excited at hearing what YOU want!

i love the idea of the games!! only trouble is, other than hello bye etc, i don't really know any Russian at all! so i would find it very difficult to join in, unless there was Phrases included as well!

i'll keep watching to see what happens

Reviews - I have bought many Russian learning items and have rented books from the library. After I finish reading them and doing the programs, I'll write reviews here based on a learners position on how well the book/software helps in learning Russian. I would also like it if other people wrote reviews for resources they have used.

That's a great idea. I think a stickied thread that people could post book reviews in would be a fantastic addition to the discuss. I would contribute a review or two for some of the books/programs I own.
