| Learning Tamil - Vanakkam, Thanks, I will try and pass on some Dutch to you if you like. What I would like to do with Tamil is to be able to write or say everday sentences. I am a total beginner and know only a few words which I picked up in my Southern India Lonely Planet Guide. I have some friends in Tiruvannamalai who know very little english and I would like to regularly write a few words in Tamil to them.

| hello - hey guys i would also liketo learn tamizh/tamil.......i read a report about old languages and it is a fact that tamil is the oldest language in india and not sanskrit........so i would really like to learn this language.......its such a beautiful poetic and deep language........its more than 4500 years old .......no wonder its so hard to learn.......so guys pls start some postings on some basic tamil.......i would like to start right away......nanri.+ | |
