Ottoman Turkish - Marheba

Does anyone know someone who is literate in Ottoman Turkish (using Arabic script)? I've been looking but I dn't think I'll find much.

A good site for learning is http://www.freewebs.com/turkce/lesson1.html.

çok teşekkürler

(go to:Osmanlıca, Osmanlı Türkçesi / the Ottoman Turkish language / la langue turque ottomane / die osmanisch-türkische Sprache / de Ottomaans Turkse taal)

there are some sample texts followed by their latin script. i can read Ottoman but am not a pro. it's just because i know Arabic+Urdu script and have read a lot of "ottoman turkish", so i basically combine them together.

umarim, bu yardimci olmustur.

- i didn't mean to insult anyone by mentioning "magandalar" but they are a fact of life on the net, and some countries are better known for them than others. that said i'm not implying that *all* turks are like that, just that there are too many...
