| - hi tariq, Recently, i have searched for a book like that for a friend of mine. you can take a look at amazon too.. according to the reviews, they all have some cons (like the use of some old words that are not so "in" these days etc.). But these two self-learning sets look ok: 1. Teach Yourself Beginner's Turkish (w/ 2 CDs) Asuman-Celen Pollard 2. Elementary Turkish by Lewis Thomas Then there is also :Colloquial Turkish, which is a pack, so i couldn't check what's inside. But the first book seemed ok to me.
