| Need to learn Vietnamese - Hey everyone, I have been goin out with my girlfriend for 1 year and 5 monthes now and I have to meet her parents in a few weeks and I need to learn Vietnamese as fast as possible just the basic words and sentences so please somebody give me a crash course in Vietnamese. choose Vni and Unicode. Beside basic words and sentences. You distinguish the pronoun "you". Vietnamese pronouns vary depending on age, sex, social position, level if intimacy, and close or distant relationships. For example, there are many terms in Vietnamese that refer to the pronoun "you" in English: ông you (grandfather, Mr - formal) bà you (grandmother, Mrs - formal) anh you (older brother, Mr - friendly) chị you (older sister, Mrs - friendly) cô you (aunt, female teacher, unmarried woman) em you (younger sibling, either male or female) Singular----- Plural 1st Person I tôi we chúng tôi we all chúng ta 2nd Person you ông you các ông you bà you các bà you anh you các anh you chị you các chị you cô you các cô you em you các em ladies and quí vị gentlemen 3rd Person he ông ấy they các ông ấy she bà ấy they các bà ấy he anh ấy they các anh ấy she chị ấy they các chị ấy she cô ấy they các cô ấy he/she em ấy they các em ấy they,general họ it-young child or an animal nó they,plural of nó chúng nó | |
