Yes I know it isn't an actual country, I was more using it in the 'land' sense of the word, not the nation sense.

| Learning Welsh in the US - Hi Shannon and Princess,
There are actually lots of people here in the US who speak Welsh; it's just a matter of finding them. California actually has the second largest Welsh population in the US. If you tell me what part of the country you are in, I could tell you where the closests Welsh class would be. Alternatively you could consider attending Welsh Heritage Week or Cwrs Cymraeg, both of which move around the country. And last, but not least, there are tons of resouces online; go to bbc.co.uk/cymru and click on the Learning Welsh link to see what is available for free! Hwyl, Robert Jones

| My own PS - Hehe,
Yes, Wales is an actual country, not an independent one, but a country nonetheless. It is currently defined as one of the four constituent countries of the United Kingdom, along with England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. It is also on the first stage of "Devolution", a process by which, in the fullness of time, it will be independent. The capital and National Assembly (Y Cynulliad) are in Cardiff in the SE of Wales. Hwyl, RJJ

But I'm sure some of my friends will be able to helpu ti siariad y Gymraeg! (Help you speak Welsh). And we really don't like being part of the commonwealth and the Assembly actually makes us semi-constitutional. But close enough, lol. If your Interested in learning the Greatest Language on earth (and one of the oldest) Give me an e-mail @ davidjohn88@hotmail.com with your real name (as it makes one on one teaching easier), How much you already know, Your home address (as from time to time i can send you stuff from Welsh teachers in my ysgol (school)) and a rough idea to what resources are already at you disposal. Ddiolch yn fawr, ac Pam fi Duw? Hywl fawr iawn, Dai
