Breton V Welsh -

Breton V Welsh - Hi
I would like to know how similar are the Welsh and Breton languages..I am Irish and can understand Scots Gaelic as I understand Irish Gaelic..is something similar true for those two languages??

Could you include a Breton discuss as well-I know it is a living language...maybe Cornish and Manx Gaelic should be included as well as there some people learning these Celtic languages

- Not an expert, but a Welsh friend of mine told me once that he could understand quite a bit of Breton but that the vocabulary was often quite different.

Welsh and breton - I can understand quite a lot of Breton as a Welsh speaker but as Desideratist said the vocab is different, I don't think the relationship between Welsh and Breton is as evident as Irish nd Scots Gaelic.
