اسمي جميلة.احاول أن أتعلم الاعربية.انا من الماني
My name is Jamila. I am trying to learn Arabic. I am from Germany.
I found this site a couple of days ago and joined today to read in the forum. I really like it because I can get in touch with people whose mother tongue is arabic.
Especially I like the vocabular threads although it is not that easy to memorize them.
Since I just started a couple of month ago I still need to learn a lot but everyday i think it would be nice to be able to translate something specifc that I just doing (i.e. I am sitting on my computer and answer a posting in this forum)
Maybe this is an idea for future postings.

Feedback ;]: Hi!
I'm a complete beginner in Arabic and find this forum excellent. But I have a number of issues, especially addressed to Remy ;]
1. Is the online chat class via Skype running? If so, when I can join?
2. What do you think about making the podcast lessons to download? It would be useful for the newcomers and people who can't join the classes due to different time zones.
3. I find it very difficult to write the Arab alphabet fluently. I found on Japanese and Korean sites some papers with step-by-step instructions (with arrows) how to write each character and put them together.
Anyway, you've done a great job! Thanks a lot!
Cheers,
Karol

thanks to both of you for responding ;) nice to hear both of you are interested in learning arabic :)
jamila, hehe you're right it's hard to memorize alot of things cos i'm facing the same problem in german as i'm learning portuguese and german too. all i've learnt in german until now is how to say good morning, good evening, how are you, i'm fine :D
why don't you post whatever you want to translate into arabic in the vocab thread in english and we'll translate it into arabic for you ;)
karol, i love your idea :D i tried in fact doing that but i didn't know how to keep it up for people to download it as i'm not so good in computers that's why i put the make sentences thread which was our first lesson and the homework thread which was our second lesson.
the online chat classes are still going on and you're free to join anytime ;)
as for writing the script that's a cool idea i'll get to work at it immediately and when i find it i'll post it :)
thanks alot you guys,
cheers,
reem

OK i've got a question for you all here to answer. why do you not post in the forum? why don't you participate in any of the exercise like making sentences or the greeting and introduce yourself topic? i sit down and write and prepare these lessons and try to make them as easy and understandable as i can. i'd like to see some responses so that i can feel that all my work isn't going in the trash can. it's usually hamid who always encourges me to keep posting and preparing the lessons and his posts keeps me going on and so does laisveb74. and the only person who actually attended the online chat lessons are hamdi and mscirill. if no one is needs the lessons please tell me so that i stop wasting my time preparing lessons and instead do something else.
there, that's better i seriously need to let out what was inside me :D sorry take it the way you want to but that's how i feel i'm frustrated and upset. i'm trying to keep the forum alive and help people who keep saying they want to learn the language to learn but you're not helping me here you don't have to post everyday just one post will be enough in each exercise atleast that way i know someone is actually looking and reading it.
cheers,
remy :)
