Belgian song translation - Goede nacht !!

Well, I'm a relatively new user of this forum, and I'm focused on other languages, but if you watched last Saturday TV Contest "Congratulations" (about the Eurovision Song Contest Jubilee) maybe you realized that the real stars were not Abba, but 1973 Belgian entry "Baby, baby", performed in Dutch by Nicole & Hugo. Well, a friend of mine has fallen in love with this song and its funny dance, and I'd be so grateful if someone here could translate it into English or French for me, 'cause unfortunately I know NOTHING about Dutch. Thanks a lot and here I am if you need any help in Spanish !!!

Dank !

Het lied :

Baby, baby, wat is er nou?
Zeg me even, ben ik van hou?
Zeg het me nog wel duizend maal
Spreek van liefde in elke taal
Liefde is broos
't is net als porselein
Oh... breekt in he hand
Voor het voltooid kan zijn
Laat ons samen zijn
...
't is zo heerlijk samen te zijn
Maar het schneiden doet toch geen pijn
Toch weet ik wel een vrouw kan niets alleen
Oh... liefde gebeurt enkel met twee bij een
Laat ons samen zijn
Soms is liefde mar niet de pijn
Oh... wou je dat het anders wil zijn.

- Baby, baby, what's up then?
Just tell me, am I (??? Belgs... :D)
Say it to me even a thousand times
Speak of love in every language
Love is frail
It's just like porcelain
(Oh... breekt in je hand)
Oh... breaks in your hand
Before it can be complete
Let us be together
...
It's so great to be together
(Maar het scheiden doet toch geen pijn)
But the parting doesn't hurt in spite of it
Still I know a woman can't do anything alone (so much for emancipation in Belgium huh? ;))
Oh... love happens only to two at one (really, Belgs and prepositions..)
Let us be together
(Soms is liefde maar niet de pijn)
Sometimes love just isn't the pain (am I such a bad interpreter or was this guy a little bit on crack?)
Oh... did you want it to be different.

If anyone has a better version, it's warmly welcomed.. :)
