Dutch Podcasts - Does anyone know of any good Dutch podcasts? I'm particularly interested in any which actually try to teach Dutch but any general interest ones will also do quite nicely. :)

- The same question here :)
I took a look at your site, I see the word a lot there, but no explanation. Is it some kind of a special teacher?

And you are even looking for good ones...:)

I sugest you formulate the question more clear, maybe then more people will react;)
Good luck!

Sorry. I thought 'podcast' was a word people knew since it's constantly being thrown around on the Net but the definition of it is :

A podcast is a web feed of audio or video files placed on the Internet for anyone to subscribe to. Podcasters' websites also may offer direct download of their files, but the subscription feed of automatically delivered new content is what distinguishes a podcast from a simple download or real-time streaming (From Wikipedia)

What I meant with my question is :

1) Are there any of these which are designed specifically to help people learn Dutch (eg. http://www.chinesepod.com/ is designed specifically for people learning Chinese).

2) If there aren't any, are there any general interest (eg. music, chat show) Dutch-language podcasts available.

Sorry if the question was not clear the first time.

- Hi there, hahah, the podcast thingy, well, its pretty common at least in part of my world.

Anyways, you can try the following:

http://www.opfm.nl/index.php

This site has a reasonably good choice of radio stations (I like RadioNL most, cos its a little bit slower, as in slower songs and they talk slower. I think its really good for beginners)

http://www.rtvstations.com/results.php?lang=nl&m=r&sb=coun&cid=124&c=1
This site has other choices of radios across all genres. Much more choices than the above, but the problem is having too many choices. hahahah.

http://portal.omroep.nl/uitzendiggemist
this one has webstations, radio, tv etc. Almost everything to back episodes of tv programmes for those who have missed it, etc etc. All written in Dutch, but it doesn't harm to explore a little and soon enough, one will know that terug=back, nieuwsbrief=news in brief etc etc.

Hope its useful babe!
