| Looking for London based Flemish teacher - I am based in Wimbledon, South London and am looking for some intensive Flemish study before my trip to Belgium on 2nd July. Am willing to travel - anyone available to teach some classes? Although I am a complete beginner, I am a keen student and quick learner. I have over 10 years English teaching experience so am willing to do an exchange class or pay a reasonable fee. Am looking for as many hours teaching as possible within the next week - daily coversational based! Any leads would be most appreciated. Many thanks in advance. | |

| - As always I'm available for answering questions, explaining things, checking and correcting texts, etc.. I study linguistics, I have a cam and a mic and I'm in PB chat often :) I'm not Flemish, but I doubt how important it is for your teacher to be, especially in the beginning.. | |

| Thanks - That's very kind of you indeed and in the future I will probably take you up on your offer. For now though, I am looking for a one to one intensive study course in person as I believe this is the quickest and most accurate way for me to learn. Till soon! | |

| Learn Flemish in London - If you want to learn Flemish, why not contact the Department of Dutch at University College London? The main teacher of Dutch language actually comes from Antwerp. Look at their website for more information www.ucl.ac.uk/dutch There are lots of opportunities to meet Dutch and Flemish people too. For a start you could pop down to the Dutch pub in Soho and try out your Dutch (www.dehems.co.uk), or pay a visit to the Dutch church (www.dutchchurch.org.uk) | |
