When do you use tÃ¢? - I have some problems finding out when you must use tâ in a word when you dont? i mean when do i know when it has to be 'panj tâ mâshin' and when can i say 'panj mâshin' or does it always HAVE to be panj tâ mâshin

could someone please explain to me the rule?

and now we talk about questions. then i have another part of the persian in whch i have difficulties.
'Baladam' and 'Mitunam' both mean 'i can' if i'm not mistaking. there must be a difference in them. i just don't know it. can anyone help me out with this thing too?

hopefully this helps - /ta/ is weird. most of the time you should just use it when you want, but if you don't then it is ok too. mostly it is used to help distinguish words. (ie. four intersections/ chahar chahar-ra sounds better with chahar ta chahar-ra).

and /baladam/ means i know and it is colloqueal for /balad astam/, but you only use it for non-human stuff like... do you know this area /een mohal balad-een?/.

- how is baladam different to midaanam (if im correct midaanam means i no as well)

- baelaedaem means to know as in acquainted with like (I know that girl [I am acquainted with that girl]) while danestaen (midanaem) means to know as in knowledge of information (I know that book) you can't say [I'm acquainted with that book]. It wouldn't make any sense at all.

Hi

About tâ.

Native Persians use tâ in colloquial language. So Never use it in formal texts.
Using tâ in this level of language depend on the final word.
For example:
panj mâshin e bozorg
panj tâ mâshin

[bozorg](big) is an adjective.When the adjective occurs after the noun(mâshin)it is better to remove the tâ.

In more formal language you must to use special word in respect to the noun.
panj dastgâh mâshin
panj ghallade sag

'Baladam' and 'Mitunam'

Baladam means I know how to do something
Mitunam means I can do something.
