French Listening Versus Reading Difficulties

Listening versus reading - I can read French with no problem, and I can write it fairly well. But as for speaking and understanding it, I am having alot of difficulty. I know it comes from having family in France and only writing letters and e-mails, instead of talking on the phone. It helps to listen to French music (I LOVE KYO) but aside from taking beginner classes in college, is there another way to further my understanding? Thanks.

- tu dois le parler et l'écouter le plus possible ;o)
Regarde la tv en langue française, il y a beaucoup de tv qu'on peut voir gratuitement sur le web =o)
utilise un logiciel comme skype (par example) pour parler avec ta famille en France, ça functionne presque toujours.

Essaie de lire des livres en français et de les lire haute voix pour t'habituer aux sons de la langue =o)

- tu peux demander a membres de phrasebase qui sont francais, ou ils veulent parler avec toi sur Msn ou une autre chat-programme.
Une microphone peut t'aider.
