| Recommend some self-study books? - Could somebody here possibly recommend some good books or resources to learn french? It\'s not really practical for me to take any classes right now. Mainly I suppose grammar. Also, no phrase books or things like that, I don\'t wanna learn how to say pre-constructed phrases, I want to learn the language. | |

| - You can go to your library and look at the resources to learn French. You\'ll see which books are more adequate to you, because normally there are plenty of resources for French. I don\'t know how many books are really good, but I think that every person can fit himself at the way the lessons go. I don\'t know if the [i]Teach Yourself[/i] collection is nice for French? :) | |
