Tuesday 09th of November 2004 01:51:53 AMAbout the Georgian alphabet:
I have a friend who works in the Dutch Embassy in Tblisi, her name's Ia and she's taught me some basic Georgian, this is all I know...
She mentioned that because Georgian doesn't use the Roman alphabet, these words are only approximate spellings.
Is there a right or a wrong way to spell Georgian with Roman characters? Is it often written with this alphabet?Gruzinus_Vulgaris

Your writing is almist correct.
Native Georgians always missuse X. instead of KH we write X as Russians would do. For ex: Nikita Khrushchev. We would spell Xrushchev - clear mistake.
"Rogor xar" should be "Rogor khar" or "Rogor har" (How are you?)
"Naxvamdis" should be "Nakhvamdis" or "Nahvamdis" (good bye).
