"πολύ όχι καλός" -- correct or not? - ORIGINAL TITLE: "πολύ μη καλός" -- correct or not?
ORIGINAL MESSAGE: "Is "πολύ μη καλός" correct or not?"

Is "πολύ όχι καλός" correct or not?

Well... - No, it is not correct! I don't know what you intend to say but "πολύ μη καλός" means... "much/very don't good". "Mη" is used ONLY for Imperative. If you want to say "not very good" then you say "oxi πολύ καλός"

I wanted to say "very bad" as "very not good", it's incorrect in English, so I meant to ask if "very not good" is correct in Greek or not.

Answer: "δεν είναι πολύ καλός" or "όχι πολύ καλός"

bad=κακός
very=πολύ

Question: "Είναι καλός;"
Answer: "Όχι είναι κακός" οr "Είναι πολύ κακός"

Nope! :p - "πολύ όχι καλός" is not correct. The correct form is "όχι πολύ καλός" ;)

- True! "όχι πολύ καλός" is the correct form. The meaning of it is that it is either medium good or medium bad, depends how you see it (optimist or pessimist ) :) Surely it doesn't mean "very bad".

- Yes it is incorrect. I see that probably you have a small issue with the word order.

The correct form is "Δεν ειναι πολύ καλός" which means
"he is not very good".
