can anyone translate this - This is a part of the lyrics of the Cat Stevens song, Ruby Love- I would love to have it translated.
Ruby glikya.
Ela xana, ela xana konda mou
Ela proyi, me tin Abbi
Seesu samee ahkeeraa
Ruby mou mikri

The first line says: Sweet Ruby
The second line, translated directly says Come again, come again near me. It would probably be translated to mean something like; Return, Return to me
The next line goes something like this:
Esi'soun san Iliou actida
meaning; You were like the sun's says
The last line: My little Ruby.

=come in the morning, by dawn

you were like the sun's rays, correcting it just to avoid misunderstanding (although it is quite obvious )
