| - I mean with " handwriting " how greek people write on a paper with a pen . I think it is different as writing on a computer .For example , in english or in russian , letters are not exactly the same when you write on a paper and when you write on a computer . I would like to know for example how greek pupils are teached to write at school . | |

| - i am not really sure if it can be done. i haven't seen any writings like that. My hypothesis would be no but still check with some native greek. | |

| - Here is a sample of handwritten alphabet. Sorry for the terrible colourful character
i suppose that it's possible when dealing with calligraphy but as far as i know normal texts are not written jointly
Of course it is possible, the letters can be written jointly but i cannot do it. (Isn't it obvious from the above picture). Calligraphy is an art. (Another greek word actually) | |

| - Thank you for your replies . I've found a link with an alphabet and examples of handwritting : http://ellinikasimera.dartmouth.edu/resources/texts/shapes1.html . But it seems quite difficult . | |

| - i checked that website out, and the shapes looked kinda strange. never seen anything like that before. and to learn these letters, take them one at a time. don't try to study the whole alphabet at once, then it will look really hard. the alphabet is not that hard to learn. after learning them, find a website that is in greek and practice reading so that you won't forget the letters. | |

| - Salut Maksim!! As a native speaker, I can asure you that we almost or just never join the letters when we write. Perhaps that's why I find sometimes difficult to make out french handwriting. A small detail that might interst you: some people (including me) write "σ" in a way that looks more like 6!! and κ in a way that looks like latin "u". | |
