Spot the word! - Γεια χαρά!

Time for a new game in the Greek forum! :) I hope you\'ll enjoy this too.

You have to find the (Greek :p) words hidden in the letter soup below. To make it a little more challenging, the clues I provided are in English, so you first need to come up with the Greek word, then find it in the table.
There are 15 words to be found here and all of them have been listed in the first two round of our \"Greek from Α to Ω\" game. Good luck!

You can download the game as a PDF file from here and the solution (also as PDF) is here.

I know the list of word is rather un-coordinated (a nice way to say \"random\" :p) but, if you like this type of game and find it useful I\'m thinking about some topic-based sequels (something in the lines of \"Vocabulary topic of the week\"). Well, we\'ll just see how it goes. For the time being...let\'s spot the first 15! :)

Hehe.. - I found 11 and then I got bored and I thought I should leave the beginers do the game, so I won\'t publish what I found so as not to spoil their fun. On the horizontal columns are 8 words waiting to be found (another clue). The first is \"clothes\" and the last is \"again\" :) You do the rest. Good luck! ;)

- Great, another game! :) I was thinking it would be a good idea to start another one of those. ;)

I found them all just now, while having breakfast. :) Even had to look a couple of words up in a dictionary (again) - so, obviously it works as a revision exercise. :) Now, it probably doesn\'t make much sense publishing the results here, as Lorelai already published the solutions (in a pdf) where everyone can check for her/himself if (s)he did it well.

PS: Luludya738, thanks for not spoiling our fun.

- You are right, but the solutions are there (and they were there even before I mentioned them) - I discovereed them by accident. :) Maybe next time they shouldn\'t even be included here... at least as long as all the words are not found.

Anyway, no one is forcing anybody to look at the solution befor (s)he has found all the words (s)he could... :) So, we can go ahead and play...

I did! :) Yesterday, when I read the post for the first time, I only saw one link (I didn\'t even notice the other one), so today when I wanted to print out the PDF version of the game (to take it to breakfast with me ;) ) I didn\'t even look, I just clicked the first link that I found (thinking it was the only one in the post) and it was the \"wrong\" one. :)

Now, I\'m not sure about this one - I think this is singular, thus grandchild (plural would probably have to end in -ια ). Also my dictionary says το εγγόνι not το εγγάνι. I\'ll check some more sources... :)

- Ooops, you\'re right, Janecito! It was a slip on my part and I apologise. :(
And I apologise once again because I\'m not using my computer right now and I can\'t type Greek characters but indeed, the word \"grandchildren\" would be spelled with an \"o\" and end in \"ia\".
Sorry, once again. Hope you\'ll find it in your hearts to forgive me. ;)
