Can someone translate this for me? - Hi! I was just wondering if someone would be kind enough to translate this into Hebrew for me:

\"Am I a gift or a curse?\"

- A possible translation:

? האם מתנה אני/אנכי או קללה

- thank you very much...do you know of anywhere i can check to translate other words into hebrew??? does that translate exactly into what i wanted, or just about??? thanks again!

- The translation I provided is a literal one, a backtranslation:
ha im matanah ani o qlalah?
Am a gift I or a curse?

Other members can provide other translations, or correct mine if it contains any mistakes. I\'m not a native speaker :).

- no, thats perfect, that\'s exactly what i wanted. thank you. i know i have a million questions, but is that the way it is written? that direction? what is the translation for just \"the/a gift\" \"and the/a curse\"? thank you so much for your help.

- Yes, Hebrew is written from right to left.

the= (ha)ה
gift= (matanah)מתנה
curse= (qlalah) קללה

There is no indifinite article in Hebrew.
