Need to learn Hebrew -
Hi everyone. I need to learn Hebrew, but it seems very confusing trying to teach myself. Is there any free (besides this) sites that really work? Im going out of my mind.

So complicated!!! Need lots of help.

- There are not too many on the internet (and if there is apparently i couldn\'t find them) :D But try foundationstone.com.au! It also has a downloadable application. But it may look a bit advance in the beginning. The aleph-bet and simple phrases, you can find just by running a search on the internet.

I hope it helps!

Shalom ulehitraot!

- Phrasebase still does not contain any Hebrew learning resources, except for this forum. The word- and phrase sites, as you may have already noticed, are still empty.

As far as online learning resources are considered, I found very few sources that were somewhat useful. I used Foundationstone for a month or so, but didn\'t particularly like it, esp. after seeing some of the other resources available. I recommend the following website, which contains two or three free lessons on the alphabet, with good use of media and sound:

If you\'re interested in pursuing Hebrew further, I would recommend looking to the sources available in print. I am using the book, \"Colloquial Hebrew\" by Zippi Lyttleton and Tamar Wang, which comes with CDs and tapes, and although it has a few errors, I found it great for self-study.
